Help Center: setup guides for AI audits, llms.txt, Growth Plans, and WordPress sync.

AI View Sync Help Center

Find help for every step in AI View Sync.

Use these guides to connect your data, measure AI visibility, create fixes, and publish updates with confidence.

Start

Get oriented in AI View Sync

Start here if you are new to the product or want to understand the order of the main setup steps.

Goal

Open your dashboard and choose the website or brand you want to improve.

Do this

Sign in, review the dashboard, and start with the first incomplete setup step.

You are ready when

You can access the dashboard and see the next action for your account.

Recommended order

  1. Connect Google Analytics 4.
  2. Review your AI traffic baseline.
  3. Run an AI View Audit.
  4. Generate llms.txt and publish it when ready.
  5. Create a Growth Plan and work through the highest-impact tasks.
Do I need to complete every step at once?

No. Complete the next useful step, then come back when you are ready. The dashboard is designed to keep the order clear.

What should I do first?

Connect GA4 first. That gives AI View Sync the traffic context it needs for page prioritization and baseline reporting.

Open dashboard →
Step 1

Connect Google Analytics 4

GA4 gives AI View Sync read-only traffic context so the product can identify important pages and AI-driven visits.

Goal

Connect the GA4 property for the website you want AI View Sync to analyze.

Do this

Use the Google account that has access to your GA4 property, then choose the correct property during setup.

You are done when

The dashboard shows GA4 as connected and can load traffic data for your selected property.

Connection checklist

  1. Confirm GA4 is installed on the website you want to analyze.
  2. Sign in with the Google account that has access to that GA4 property.
  3. Select the property tied to the correct website or brand.
  4. Return to the dashboard and confirm the connection status.
Will AI View Sync change my GA4 property?

No. AI View Sync uses read-only access. It reads traffic data for analysis and does not modify your analytics property.

What if I do not see the right property?

Make sure the Google account you used has access to the correct GA4 property. If someone else owns it, ask them to grant access and reconnect.

Connect GA4 →
Step 2

Review your AI traffic baseline

Use the baseline to see whether AI tools already send visitors and which pages are getting that traffic.

Goal

Understand current AI-driven traffic before you start making site updates.

Do this

Open the dashboard after GA4 connects and review sources, landing pages, and changes over time.

You are done when

You know which AI sources and pages are already visible in your analytics data.

What to look for

  1. AI sources such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, and similar tools.
  2. Landing pages that receive AI-driven visits.
  3. Pages that get traffic but do not clearly explain your category, proof, or buyer value.
Why does AI traffic sometimes look small?

AI traffic can arrive as scattered referrals and quiet landing-page patterns. The baseline helps you group those signals before the channel gets noisier.

What if I do not see AI traffic yet?

That is still useful. The baseline gives you a starting point, and the audit can show where AI answers may be missing your brand.

Step 3

Run an AI View Audit

The audit checks how AI answers mention, miss, recommend, or compare your brand for buyer-style questions.

Goal

See whether AI tools understand your brand as a relevant option in your category.

Do this

Run the audit, review competitor mentions, and note the places where your brand needs stronger proof.

You are done when

You have audit findings that show visibility gaps, competitor patterns, and improvement opportunities.

How to read the results

  1. Look for whether your brand appears in unaided category questions.
  2. Review which competitors are mentioned and why they may be favored.
  3. Identify missing content, comparison proof, category language, and trust signals.
What does the audit test?

It tests buyer-style questions in your category and checks whether your brand is mentioned, recommended, cited, or missing compared with competitors.

Do audit results guarantee recommendations?

No. Results are directional findings that help prioritize improvements. No tool can guarantee how every AI answer will rank or recommend brands.

Run AI View Audit →
Step 4

Create and publish llms.txt

An llms.txt file gives AI systems a clearer map of your business, important pages, and site context.

Goal

Create a clean file that points AI systems toward the pages that best explain your company.

Do this

Generate the file, review the recommended pages, then publish it at your site root or through WordPress.

You are done when

Your file is available at yourdomain.com/llms.txt and includes your most important pages.

Pages to prioritize

  1. Product, service, and category pages.
  2. Comparison, pricing, case study, FAQ, and proof pages.
  3. Pages that already get meaningful traffic or support buying decisions.
Where should llms.txt live?

Publish it at the root of your site, such as https://example.com/llms.txt. WordPress users can publish it with the AI View Sync plugin.

Does llms.txt replace SEO?

No. It complements SEO by giving AI systems clearer context about your site. Your pages still need to be useful, crawlable, and trustworthy.

Generate llms.txt →
Step 5

Create a Growth Plan

The Growth Plan turns audit findings into prioritized actions for content, proof, structure, and site updates.

Goal

Know what to improve first instead of treating every recommendation as equal.

Do this

Create the plan, review the highest-impact tasks, and work through the items that clarify your value fastest.

You are done when

You have a prioritized list of actions your team can complete and track.

Common Growth Plan tasks

  1. Clarify category and ICP language on important pages.
  2. Add comparison proof, case studies, FAQs, and stronger buyer answers.
  3. Refresh llms.txt, schema, internal links, and pages that need better context.
What should I fix first?

Start with tasks that clarify who you help, what category you belong in, how you compare, and why buyers should trust you.

Can I complete tasks outside AI View Sync?

Yes. The Growth Plan is meant to guide execution. Some work happens in your CMS, some in WordPress, and some inside AI View Sync.

Create Growth Plan →
Step 6

Publish updates with WordPress sync

The WordPress plugin lets you publish llms.txt without editing server files and can sync updates from AI View Sync.

Goal

Serve your AI-facing file at /llms.txt and keep the published version current.

Do this

Install the plugin, choose manual mode or connected sync, then verify that /llms.txt loads on your site.

You are done when

Your WordPress site serves the latest approved llms.txt content.

Publishing checklist

  1. Install and activate the AI View Sync WordPress plugin.
  2. Paste content manually or connect your AI View Sync account.
  3. Open yourdomain.com/llms.txt and confirm the content is live.
  4. Use sync again when your generated file changes.
Do I need the plugin to publish llms.txt?

No. You can publish the file manually at your site root. The plugin is the easiest path for WordPress sites.

Will the plugin modify my posts or theme?

No. It manages the llms.txt route and related settings. It does not replace your theme or rewrite your posts.
